A beautifully restored Villa with an antique and historic feel makes for a perfect family Holiday, Special Event or as a unique Wedding Reception Venue, with 12 Double Bedrooms and outdoor areas to cater for up to 30 guests for your Special Event. Boasting a tranquil and peaceful environment set up in the Hills between Amalfi and Atrani, this Villa really does offer a ‘Bella (beautiful) View,’ and would be the perfect escape for families with busy lifestyles based in the hustle and bustle of a city life back home.
This Villa has the unique factor that it was built on the original XIII Century Monastery of the St. Francesco Monks of which there is still the small pathway today, which was once used by the Monks for their spiritual retreats.
Our favourite aspect of this Villa is the unique decoration of incorporating the natural original volcanic stone walls into the décor of the Villa, around the corridors, as well as some bedrooms which go in complete contrast with the immaculate white walls and hand painted ceramic tiles. Refurbished original wooden beams really bring the character of the Villa to life.
A delicate slope and steps lead you to the entrance of the Villa where you will find a beautiful Living Room decorated with brilliant white archways and columns, which create a spacious open plan area to relax in the peaceful surroundings. The French style Balconies allow you to enjoy the smooth Sorrentine sea breeze and stunning views from the comfort of the Villa’s Living Room. A short flight of stairs leads you to a small Double Room with an elegantly large Terrace accompanied by a gorgeous sea view.
From the Living Room you can access the Villa’s distinctive Italian Kitchen, decorated with hand painted Vietrese tiles as well as the characteristic volcanic stone ceiling, which makes for the ideal calming cooking experience. Here you will find all the culinary tools as well as a traditional oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. The generously proportioned Terrace can be accessed via two large glass doors from the Kitchen.
Furnished with relaxing chairs and sofas, the Terrace boasts an amazing view across to the nearby town of Atrani, the beautiful Bell Tower ‘Maiolica Cuploa,’ and the famous crystal clear Amalfi Coast waters, bringing a sense of peace and tranquillity for a relaxing afternoon soaking up the Sorrentine Sun.
From the Terrace you can also reach the ample sized swimming pool for a refreshing afternoon relax complete with sunbeds for the Sun worshipers, where you can lay down, close your eyes and take in the Sorrentine lemon scents with each inhalation.
The majority of the bedrooms are based on the two lower floors of the Villa where you will find an LCD TV, air conditioning and heating, mini-bar, balcony or window with a view towards the brilliant blue sea and en-suite bathroom with either a bath or shower and hairdryer. Each bedroom has been uniquely styled with beautiful high vaulted ceilings, restored original wooden beams and bold hand painted ceramic tiles keeping in the typical theme of the beautiful Villa Bella View.
Seven Bedrooms are based on the Lower Floor, and four bedrooms on the Ground Floor. Another relaxing Terrace can be found on the Lower Floor furnished with a large Hammock to create the perfect area to lay and let time run away from you in the tranquil terrace surroundings. Wi-Fi Internet connection is available throughout the Main Areas of the Villa for our guests convenience.
Although the Villa is set in a beautifully high location to offer the stunning views, Villa Bella View is conveniently located close to the Town Centre and nearby Beach, which offer boats to various locations for the more adventurous.
As the Villa is cleverly located next to the small Sister Hotel, yet still far enough away to allow the sense of peace and tranquillity, the Hotel can also be used to accommodate more guests for those expecting larger groups with the Tower hosting up to 45 guests for an Event, or 130 guests in the indoor Dining Area of the Hotel. The Hotel was transformed over 200 years ago to become a Hotel and keeps within the antique feel of the Villa.
